Two Days of Azure

Azure unfolded over two days, bringing together art, automotive design, music and conversation around a collaboration between artist Betty Yaghi and Royal Customs designer Sam Solh.

The first evening was an intimate gathering of fifty guests. Selected works by Yaghi were presented alongside Azure, accompanied by a live violin performance as guests moved between the paintings and the automobile. A cigar roller added another layer to an evening centered around conversation, discovery and the meeting of different creative worlds.

The following day, the exhibition opened to a wider audience, welcoming more than 200 guests. A live DJ shifted the atmosphere as the space filled and the exhibition took on a different energy.

The evening culminated in the unveiling of Azure; the one-of-one automobile created through Yaghi and Solh’s collaboration. The occasion also coincided with Solh’s birthday, ending the two days on an unexpected and personal note with a surprise cake shared among the guests.

Looking back, Azure anticipated something that would later become central to The Atrium Collection: bringing different disciplines, objects and people into the same space, and allowing unexpected connections to emerge.
